Are you living your ideal life?
Do you spend your days doing the things you love with the people you love? Do you have great health, happiness, fulfilling relationships, energy, and joy?
If you are – congratulations! If not, what are you waiting for?
Here are some practical tools to help you fill the gap between the life you are living today and the life you long for:
What Are You Simply Tolerating?
First, make a list of the top three things in your life that you are tolerating. These are the things that are draining your energy, creating negative thoughts and limiting your ability to be what you want and have what you want.
For example, perhaps you are 20 pounds heavier than you would like to be, are in a toxic relationship with a friend or make less money than you need or want.
If you are spending your time worrying or avoiding these issues, you are not focused on what you do want, which is time and energy wasted.
What Would You Do Instead?
Next, make a list of all the things you would do, be or have if you were able to modify what you are tolerating.
For example, if you lost the extra 20 pounds, you would feel better about yourself, have more energy to play with your kids or grandkids, or travel to places you hadn’t felt comfortable going to when you were heavier.
This activity will help you clarify why you want to make change. When we know the payoff, we are more motivated and successful!
Focus on Positive Thoughts
It has been scientifically proven that your life is created by what you think about the most. That’s startling news for worriers. If you worry about debt, for example, you are creating more debt.
The trick is to turn your worry into a positive thought that you can focus on instead such as “I am wealthy, I am healthy and I am happy.” Henry Ford once said, “If you think you can or you think you can’t, either way you are right.”
Your thoughts are very powerful!! Instead of worrying or avoiding, choose some new thoughts to support the person you want to be.
Making the choice, and taking the responsibility to stop tolerating and start living your life will set you free to dream about, believe in and create just what you want.
